First Quarter

The game began with the Baylor Bears establishing their dominance early on. The Green and Gold managed to score two touchdowns in this period, leaving the Knights trailing without any points. The UCF defense struggled to contain Baylor's offensive prowess, which set the tone for the rest of the game.

Second Quarter

In an attempt to close the gap, UCF's kicker Noe Ruelas successfully converted a field goal from 45 yards out, marking their only points in this quarter. Despite this effort, Baylor continued their momentum by adding another six points through two field goals. The Knights' offense found it difficult to penetrate Baylor's defense effectively.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both teams tightened up defensively. However, it was once again Baylor who managed to extend their lead with another field goal. UCF’s quarterback Tayven Jackson faced pressure throughout and was unable to find his rhythm against an aggressive Bears defense that forced two interceptions during his attempts.

Fourth Quarter

In what became an uphill battle for UCF, Malachi Lawrence stood out defensively by recording two sacks and forcing one fumble recovery for his team. Nevertheless, these efforts were not enough as Baylor sealed their victory with another touchdown late in this quarter.

Despite some individual defensive highlights from players like Lawrence and Lewis Carter who contributed six tackles each alongside Cole Kozlowski’s eleven combined tackles performance; overall team execution fell short against a well-prepared opponent like Baylor.

Looking ahead: Fans can catch UCF back on home turf when they face off against Houston Cougars at Acrisure Bounce House on November 7th at 8:00 PM EDT broadcasted live via Fox Sports 1 network coverage!
