The Cardinals did manage a win over Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on February 10 at KFC Yum! Center where they scored an encouraging victory of 79-67. Their free throw accuracy was exceptional at an astounding rate of 91 percent which contributed significantly towards sealing that win. They also showed tenacity on defense with four blocks and managed twenty second-chance points indicating strong offensive rebounding efforts.

However, these past games have exposed some inconsistencies within the Cardinals' ranks – particularly in maintaining defensive pressure and capitalizing on turnovers which will be critical when facing DUKE's dynamic squad.
