From tip-off at FedExForum, it was evident that the Memphis Grizzlies had their work cut out for them. The first quarter saw them put up a respectable 21 points against Portland's 17, but it was in the second quarter where things began to unravel. The Trail Blazers exploded with an impressive 34 points compared to Memphis's 24, setting a tone for what was yet to come.

The third quarter further widened the gap as Portland racked up an overwhelming 40 points while holding Memphis to just 27. It was during this period that Portland showcased their offensive might with fast break plays and pinpoint shooting from beyond the arc – connecting on an impressive 42 percent of their three-point attempts throughout the game.

In contrast, despite committing only one less personal foul than their opponents (17), Memphis could not match Portland's efficiency on both ends of the court.
