The Auburn Tigers showcased a robust offensive performance with a field goal percentage of 48. The team also excelled from beyond the arc, converting eight out of their twenty-one three-point attempts for a solid three-point percentage of 38. On defense, they were equally imposing with seven blocks and nine steals contributing to their dominance on the court.

The Tigers' teamwork was evident as they dished out eighteen assists over the course of the game. Their ball movement and unselfish play were key factors in their victory. Additionally, they capitalized on turnovers scoring nineteen points off turnovers compared to only five by the Trojans.

On offense, Auburn was relentless in attacking the paint scoring forty-two points inside and adding twelve second-chance points thanks to their effort on offensive rebounds. They also made good use of free throw opportunities by making twenty-five out of thirty-two attempts which rounded up to a free throw percentage of 78.

The USC Trojans fought valiantly but struggled with accuracy shooting only forty percent from field goals and thirty-two percent from three-point range. Despite pulling down more rebounds than Auburn with thirty-eight total rebounds including ten offensive boards, it wasn't enough to overcome Auburn's high-scoring offense.

USC did have some bright spots; they shot an impressive eighty-one percent from the free-throw line and managed ten second-chance points but ultimately fell short as their fifteen turnovers proved costly against Auburn’s aggressive defense which boasted an assist-to-turnover ratio of over two-and-a-half times better than that of USC.
